Daily Health Tips

There are several steps you can take to get healthy and remain healthy. For example, learn to move more. Instead of taking the elevator, try the stairs. Don’t look for the closest parking spot, go ahead and take the walk. Just by doing this, you should be able to cover the twenty minutes per day that you should get of extra activity.

Try and remain stress free. If you feel yourself becoming stressed, try counting to ten. Do squared breathing. Breathe in and hold it for ten seconds, then breathe out and hold it for ten seconds, then repeat. Another way to reduce your stress is to tilt your head all the way back and hold it for a minute. You will soon see that the compression of the nerve in your neck makes it impossible for you to be angry or stressed.

Use sun block. This reduces the toxins that accompany the damage that the sun does to your body. You even need to apply sun block in the winter. Just because you can’t feel the sun doesn’t mean it is not damaging your body.

Most importantly, eat healthier and cut your fat intake. In this hustle and bustle world that we live in, it is hard to not eat on the run. However, most restaurants have a healthier choice on the menu. Don’t be shy to ask for the fat and calorie content. Even fast food restaurants are following suit with grilled products instead of fried. Skip the french fries and grab a salad. You’ll feel better in the long run.
