Secondly, being fit involves good nutrition and a vitamin supplement. With the combination of exercise and good nutrition, weight does not become an issue for the teen. Peer pressure often encourages teens to eat just certain foods or to not eat at all. A balanced diet is essential to being fit as a teen. It will also ward off problems like diabetes and high blood pressure.

Thirdly, being fit involves a good mind set. Protecting our teens from violent movies and harsh music help total body wellness. Parents and guardians need to be involved daily with their teen to make sure that the material they are exposed to is positive. This is another area where peer pressure can have profound effects on a teen.
