Physical activity for the health of adolescents and young adults is very important. Adolescents and young adults benefit in many ways from physical activity. Both girls and boys need to stay active to stay healthy, not only for now but for their future as well. Moderate daily exercise not only improves the way one looks and feels, it improves self-esteem and can improve grades as well. Getting your children up off the couch is not impossible, as it just takes a little motivation. It needs to be fun in order for them to want to do it. Have fun, be silly and learn to dance together. If you are willing to try and laugh at yourself, you can motivate your teen to do the same.
