Exercising doesn’t have to consist of the same old boring routine day after day. There are many alternatives that you can add to what you are already doing. Exercising with a friend or family member is a great way to stay both motivated and committed to staying in shape. When none of your friends are willing to take the step with you, find an exercise class. This works great, especially during the winter months when it is too cold to exercise outside. Some great classes to consider are aerobic, cycling or spinning, kick boxing, yoga or even an upbeat dance class that will get you sweating in no time at all.

It is really important to get your cardiovascular workout in. What better way to do this than by jumping on a trampoline? You don’t necessarily need to buy a really big trampoline as a mini-trampoline will do just fine. Did you know that jumping on a trampoline has been known to burn more calories than jogging? This is also a great way to relieve stress and can even be done as a family with young children.

Bicycling is a great way to enjoy a spring afternoon rather than in the gym. This is another great family outing that can be a lot of fun, not to mention the memories you will be creating. You can plan a nice, long bike ride and take a healthy picnic lunch for along the way. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water during your fun fitness time!
