The first thing you need to do is decide what your health and fitness values are. The values are usually one word or two to three-word phrases. Next, number them according to their importance. On a scale of 1-10, decide how willing you are to change so you can make sure you can maintain your values. After this, you need to create your goals. Make sure these are clear and detailed, using one to two sentences. Be sure to be realistic. Choose the date the goal will occur. Keep your goals positive. Ask yourself what needs to happen in order for you to know your goal has been achieved.

To start a healthy diet fitness goal setting program, you need to have the wish or desire to get fit and or, lose weight. This is a long term goal. In order for a goal to be achieved, you have to be totally committed to them. Visualize yourself achieving your goal. Visualize how the new you will look, feel and act. Start becoming this person you see. Start small when setting the goals so you are able to feel like you are succeeding and are able to be enthusiastic. Think about the changes you will need to make in order to make it possible to reach your goal. Whatever task you have set has to be done and effort must be put into it.
