Keeping young adults fit is getting harder and harder. Some of it is due to the types of less active games that are now out and flooding the market. The truth is that many youth are less active and less inclined to exercise because they have become accustomed to a life of ease.
Most everyone owns a car or two so no one walks anywhere they don’t have to. They also have fast foods that are slowly killing them. It is so much easier to order the fast food then it is to go home and prepare a meal that is healthy. As if that were not enough now some schools are cutting out gym class. So the kids get no exercise at all. You have to start training your child when they are young that it is important to get enough exercise and keep fit.
You should show them through the way you eat and keep yourself fit. It is a fact that people who are in shape or fit are less likely to have a heart attack or suffer from diabetes. There are a lot of other health issues that people who are out of shape suffer from. It is up to parent to prevent these by teaching the child a lifestyle of fitness. Running, playing sports and even just taking a walk with the dog can provide you and your children not only exercise but quality time together as well. If the child learns to exercise young they will be guaranteed a healthier and more stress free life later on.
