Create a Daily Fitness Routine

Get off to a great start with your daily fitness routine by first making a plan that you can stick to. Set a designated time for each day and schedule the fitness like anything else you plan.

Lack of time is the biggest excuse used to not exercise daily. Even a 90-minute walk around the block or on the treadmill is better than nothing at all. The secret to a daily fitness plan is to make the time a convenient time for you.

Learn to be creative with your household chores. Do the chores a little faster than usual to get your heart pumping faster. Try doing lawn work for upper body strength. There are little things you can do while watching television. Getting up and down to change channels or volume can be some fitness for the day.

Involve the family so you are not doing your daily fitness alone. It can become a family fun time and be healthy for everyone. You can help yourself with a short walk with your dog or your neighbor’s dog in the evening. Just so you have some sort of companionship to help you keep your daily fitness routine is what it is all about.

Getting away can be a time to look forward to each day. If you prefer to plan your daily fitness away from home, consider joining a fitness club or join groups that do outings for their fitness.

For someone that has to work every day, try a routine at work. During your breaks or lunch time, do some simple exercises alone or with a co-worker. Use the stairs going from floor to floor.

Plan your daily fitness routine around your family and work. Fit it into your lifestyle.
