Keeping Young Adults Fit

Staying fit and relaxed is good for your health. If you want to enjoy life more, do an exercise you enjoy. You are more likely to stick with it and exercise longer. Young adults are keeping fit by exercising and eating healthy. Keeping fit will improve general health and well being later in life.

Exercise in young adults is very important. No amount of exercise can guarantee a long life. However, even a moderate amount of exercise can improve the likelihood of a healthy life. Along with a positive attitude and healthy diet, your fitness level plays a major role in how well you feel, what illnesses you avoid, and how much you enjoy life.

A good fitness plan has three parts. They are aerobics fitness, muscle strengthening, and flexibility. Aerobic conditioning strengthens your heart and lungs. Good aerobic exercises include walking, running, stair climbing, biking, swimming, aerobic dance, or anything else that raises your heart rate and keep it up for a while. Not to exercise, as a young adult is very risky as this will increase the chance of high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, heart attacks and other diseases.

Exercise does not have to be intense to be of value. In fact, if you exercise too hard, you get less benefit then if you were to choose a moderate pace. More importantly, listen to your body. If your exercise feels is too, hard slow down. You will reduce the risk of injury and enjoy the exercise much more.
